Review “Hypnosis for Confidence”

Hannah’s “Hypnosis for Confidence” session is one of her vanilla/non-erotic session (although, is there a third category now…?) and I am currently training with it. tl;dr? Highly recommended! (Basically, I recommend almost all the vanilla tracks very highly).

TRAINING

People often think hypnosis is some kind of magic. For 15% of the population, the ones who end up on stage during hypnosis shows, you can have seemingly powerful, instant results at going into deep trance and responding.

But even they may not be able to have instant long-term changes, depending on the topic.  They may have unwanted consequences/need to clean things up, depending.

If hypnotists were as actually as powerful as media and TV say, they would rule the world and everyone else would be in thrall to them.

So, that isn’t true, obviously (or is it, you just can’t see it?? In which case, it IS true???)

In truth, those who influence the world most powerfully do so with true principles. Which are many of the ones that hypnotists learn and use. But that’s long topic for another time.

Back to the recording.

Long Induction FTW

Now, I am a crappy hypnotic subject. It is very difficult for me to go into trance, due to trauma and long-term hypervigilance, among other things.

Which makes my fascination with hypnosis a bit tragic, to be honest. Always better at giving than receiving.

Now, in many of Mistress’ newer recordings, she kind of skips over the induction, favoring a more ‘Ericksonian’ approach (I’ll explain why I put that in quotes in a bit).

For me, that seems less successful, because I don’t go into trance easily that way. I remember precisely one time that happened.

I’m currently reading ‘Sugar Baby Hypnosis”, and even Erickson needed 1-2 hours to do his magic with his methods. Well, a recording is normally 20 minutes. And even a 1:1 session of an hour will not be 1 hour straight hypnosis. And, Erickson had a bunch of unusual characteristics that made his work work for him, assuming it did work, which we all kind of just believe with no proof.

But: This recording is great. Gentle music in the background. Her voice isn’t marred with too many echos (I love it naked!). And the induction is long enough for me to drop into.

So much so that I listened to it twice yesterday, and I don’t remember any of it after around 8 minutes. That can be a good sign or a bad sign, but I take it as going deeply into hypnosis successfully.

For this recording, also what I am doing is slowing it down 30% when listening (you can buy it on Loyalfans)…to give myself more time to respond. You can have a fast mind, but when your body is trying to follow suggestions, a little more time is always good.

When people are in a hypnotic state, you can move very very slowly as their mind is making up whatever else you are discussing. “Imagine you are on a sailboat”. That line alone can probably keep the mind busy for minutes if you let it. It takes time for it all to sink in. That seems to give me about a 30 minute audio, which feels perfect.

Confidence is my current project for what I am doing moving forward, so this is the perfect recording for the moment.

I tell people to listen at least once per day for a minimum of 5 days to see how a hypnosis recording works. I am listening 10x this week, 2x x 5 days. We will see what the results are!
